This would be my first time, listening to the reading of a Bible and attempt to listen to it in one year starting day 15 minutes into the reading, and I am not impressed at all. The reader speaks far too softly. I cannot hear his voice in my car while driving, he corrects him self in the middle of his sentence. He will have text message notifications going off in the background while the recording is taking place in this is not a professional reading of the word of God, and for it to be considered one of the oldest readings of the word of God you would think that some professionalism in recording the word of God would happen. There are other translations that are out there that are far more polished, and not so distracting when listening to the only downside is that those translations are not as accurate as the original Orthodox. it’s a shame that this podcast was so hastily thrown together, and that a little bit more care in time be taken with God’s word should’ve been more appreciated.
