I had taken a break from listening to podcasts for a while and got really excited when they came back. It's my favorite way to find music that's new to me.

These guys seem to just be perpetually triggered by everything. I guess it’s a troll. Lol

Stumbled on their New York Dolls episode. Clearly not a not of time is spent on research. The topper though was, after spending almost an hour mostly trashing the Dolls first album, they play the f@#%ing Lumineers as some great song of the week which pretty much underscored how clueless they are when it comes to understanding what made certain protopunk bands great. Stick to your modern pop music boys. You’re in over your heads when it comes to anything older than you are.

This is not only a music podcast. This is a glimpse of family dynamics, friendship, cultural changes, shifting mores, food, comfort, the death of calm discourse, quantum theory, history and dad jokes. Hang with these four (& their occasional special guests) for at least two episodes and you'll be hooked. You'll also catch yourself screaming at your phone/computer/tablet. Often. Somebody Likes It is always long, always distracted by something shiny (funny) but never ever dull.

I've been listening for a couple of months and have really enjoyed this podcast. They're always intorducing me to new music that I would have not otherwise heard of (this is the main reason I listen). It's a fun, funny, laid back atmosphere with a wide variety of music genres covered. They cover the albums in a fair, open minded and inclusive way. When the show is over I don't always like the album that was covered, but I always have an appreciation for it.
