MacGyver/SG-1 Audio Series

This is a really well put together show. It’s well written and an great mix of characters. I’m super impressed by it. Thanks for all the work on this.

What a surprise! I grew up with MacGyver

When I first stumbled upon this audio series, I scoffed at the idea of a story that could only certainly have an extremely tenuous premise. While the entire thing does in fact hinge on a silly idea, (twins? That’s low hanging fruit) the execution is incredibly well done. The stories are well told and fast paced, the writer nails the character dialogue so well, that there are points that you can hear the screen actors’ voices overlaying it in your head. The relationships feel real, the interplay between O’niell (2 Ls) and Macgyver feels tentative and uneasy at first like one would expect separated brothers would be getting to know each other, and the action is fitting of both universes. Truly wonderful stuff. I have only two minor quibbles: the actual prose of what is happening is pretty basic and lacks a bit of flare, but the amazing portrayal of the characters evens this out. The other quibble is that THERE ARE SO FEW EPISODES!!!!!! Please make more. This could be the highlight of an entire week or month, a bright spot in the dreariness of our existence. Thanks for this great show!
