Quality anime podcast
09/08/2017
I've been searching for a good anime podcast for a while now, and have been disappointed overall with the quality. Spiral Radio was a welcome find since it soars above and beyond any other anime podcast in production quality of sound and music. The discussion also fascinates, with a confidence reminiscent of RadioLab and several guest interviews. Guests span a wide range of age and nationality, and while the first episode only interviews men, the second also pulls from some wonderful women. I can't wait to see how the show grows over time.
Spectacular Anime Podcast

I've never listened to a podcast of any sort, let alone anime, that is as well produced as Spiral Radio. It honestly feels like an old History Channel or Nat Geo documentary from like 10 years ago (before they started doing stuff like Ancient Aliens). DaLadybugMan is obviously extremely passionate about both anime and podcasting and this labor of love is his opus. The interviews are well edited, so you're just getting 100% content from this podcast, no off topic rambling, no awkward pauses. Spiral Radio is as focused as they come and certainly lives up to its namesake.
