    #469: Karel Sedlacek, Carl Wilson, PDC 2027 Calendar Announcement

    Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode of your go-to darts podcast during the World Grand Prix. The boys kick off the show with a look at the PDC's 2027 calendar announcement, including confirmed details of a new major ranking event, the European Open, a first European Tour event in France and expanded fields for the European Championship and Players Championship Finals, as well as changes to the Challenge and Development Tours. Karel Sedlacek (19:39) joins the show to look back on a memorable week in the Netherlands last week which saw him win his first PDC ranking title. 'Evil Charlie' reflects on becoming the first player from the Czech Republic to win a ProTour, what this win could do for darts in his home country, and what his next goals are in the PDC. Karel also talks about the last few years on the oche, losing his PDC tour card by just £500 at the end of the 2024/25 season, winning a tour card for the third time at European Q-School in 2025, milestone wins representing the Czech Republic in the PDC World Cup of Darts and much more. Alex and Burton continue the show with a recap of last week's PDC ProTour in action in Den Bosch last week and in particular Karel Sedlacek's first title success at Players Championship 30. Carl Wilson (46:16) calls in after winning through Monday's UK and Ireland PDC Tour Card Holder and Associate Member Qualifier to secure a debut in the PDC World Darts Championship. The boys kick off the show with a look back at last week's action in Amsterdam which saw Ross Smith claim his second PDC major title. Alex and Burton discuss what's next for 'Smudger' and also give their thoughts on the runner-up Gerwyn Price's post-final comments on stage. Noa-Lynn van Leuven (19:59) joins the show to reflect on her memorable first nine-dart leg on stage at the MODUS Super Series. The former Challenge Tour title winner also talks about her current status in the game and her future goals now after being ruled out of the PDC Women's Series events midway through the season. Beau Greaves (19:11) joins the show after another history-making weekend, which saw her become the first female player to win a match on the European Tour.     Alex Moss is back with a new episode of your go-to darts podcast ahead of the World Series double header Down Under!   Raymond Smith (1:41) joins the show ahead of making his first appearance on the World Series in eight years.     Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt are back with a new episode of your go-to darts podcast after the latest Players Championship double header.   The boys kick off the show with a look back at last week's ProTour action in Hildesheim, which saw Henry Coates become just the fifth non tour-card holder to win a Players Championship title, and Sebastian Bialecki double his own ProTour title tally to take a big step towards a debut at the World Grand Prix later this season.   Henry Coates (21:40) calls in to reflect on a memorable week in Germany last week, winning his first PDC senior title at Players Championship 25. The 20-year-old looks back on his career so far, from playing in his local pub league at eight years old to captaining an England team that included Luke Littler to JDC World Cup glory in Gibraltar. Henry chats about his experiences as a top up player on the ProTour over the last 12 months, his eye-catching run to a semi-final earlier this summer, and then his breakthrough run in Hildesheim last week and becoming the youngest non tour-card holder to win a Players Championship in the tour card era.   Alex and Burton continue their recap of last week's action in Germany with a look back at the latest five event block of Development Tour events, picking out the players who caught their eye over the weekend.   Derek Coulson (46:22) joins the show to look back on a landmark victory in Champions Week at the MODUS Super Series.
