I’m late to the horror game
As a kid I was terrified of horror movies. It wasn’t till I was about 13 that I started watching as much horror as I could. I discovered Postmortem with Mick Garris recently and have been devouring the episodes. I really enjoy the interviews Mick Garris conducts and all the legendary guests he has on. I get a lot of horror film recommendations that I have yet to see and like hearing some background on the films or television I have seen. Wish I would’ve discovered sooner, but catching up one by one.
Easily the Best Podcast I’ve ever followed!
As someone who loves movies of all kinds I’m always looking for a podcast that really gets into the “making of” stories. Usually it’s a bunch of fans talking over themselves about movies which is fine, but I want to hear from the filmmakers themselves. Mick is the glue that binds all of the genre filmmakers together so he is able to get SO MANY amazing guests “on the slab”, so that even if I am not familiar with the artist by the end of the interview I’ve added all of their films to my watch list! Thanks Mick and Joe for all the great interviews, and for exposing us to a lot of amazing artists in such a comfortable and respectful atmosphere!
