Reading the Realms

I’m enjoying listening to these two chatting about Forgotten Realms fiction. They have a fun take on things and the two hosts have nice on-air personalities that complement each other really well. They don’t pull any punches when they don’t like something about a book (or even the whole book), but they also really gush about the parts they do appreciate, even for the weaker books in the series. If you like the Forgotten Realms, this is worth a listen!

Great talk and banter but they have many of the key details wrong

Lots of content. Pretty good rundown of the Realms. Where it falls short is sound quality. This is common with a lot of podcasts. Low volume with headphones will be best. Our two host talk over each other constantly, like a cocaine fueled afterparty. It’s also unnecessary vulgar, which makes it hard to turn on to younger gamers. That said, no one is claiming to be professionals here. Check it out if you want to remember the TSR era.
