Phillies Talk: A Philadelphia Phillies Podcast

Crawford doesn’t profile in CF. Our current outfield setup going into 2026 exposes our weaknesses even more. We could have had a right-handed Golden Glove, true centerfielder — something we haven’t had since Victorino — for a couple years while Crawford (yet another lefty hitter in this lineup) could have gotten acclimated in the outfield. He could platoon with Marsh and Garcia. Instead, we’re hoping to God this situation works out with Crawford and Kemp and that not a single player gets injured for an extended period of time — because that’s when our vulnerabilities/lack of depth will really be exposed.

I enjoy the Pod. Good information presented in an entertaining way. One major critique- don’t use the word “especially” so much when you can’t say it correctly. There is no such thing as expecially.

I’ve been listening to this podcast since it was Corey and Jim S. I like it and find it to be informative. However, I’m not a fan of Spencer. He brings no value to the pod. He’s just a rah rah and his oral speaking silks are horrible. I learned in 6th grade not to keep saying “um” when speaking out loud. It’s annoying. When Corey’s not on, I end up not listening. If he doesn’t travel with the team, doesn’t do interviews and never played the game, then I qualify for that job as well. 7/7/25 - now that Corey is gone I dropped my rating to 1 star. I will no longer be listening or subscribing. I can do without the ADHD nature of that other “dude”.

Brutal sweep by Mets not discussed as original talking point. Told us not to panic last show then doesn’t discuss pathetic sweep as the leading subject
