    Beyond Sunday

    A faith that goes beyond Sunday. Notes: 1. Three simple principles: a. Be Intentional. b. Stay Consistent. c. Keep Communicating. 2. Daniel Understood The Assignment. o Daniel 6:10 (NKJV) 3. Be Intentional. o Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) 4. Intentional = doing something deliberately, on purpose, with a specific goal in mind. 5. Here's the problem with a lot of Christians today: We have good intentions, but we don't always live intentionally. 6. You cannot arrive at a spiritual destination you never intentionally pursue. o Luke 9:23 (NKJV) 7. Following Jesus is not just a one-time decision at an altar. o Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) 8 There is a difference between God being part of your life and God being the priority of your life. 9. Intentionality doesn't require perfection. It requires a decision. 10. You don't find time for what matters. You make time for what matters. 11. Stay Consistent. o Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) 12. Consistency takes you from feelings to faith. o Daniel 6:10 (NKJV) 13. Spiritual maturity is not measured by how high you jump on Sunday, but by how faithfully you walk on Monday through Saturday. 14. Keep Communicating. o 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV) 15.     Winning the war you can’t see. Notes: 1. The devil may have some power, but Jesus has given the believer authority over the enemy. o Luke 9:1 (NKJV) 2. The devil isn't intimidated by how strong you are. He's intimidated by the authority standing behind you. 3. Jesus Defeated The Enemy. o Colossians 2:15 (NKJV) 4. Spiritual warfare isn't trying to convince Jesus to defeat satan. 5. You Are Seated With Christ. o Ephesians 1:20-23 (NLT) o Ephesians 2:6 (NLT) 6. Stop trying to fight your way into victory.
