This will be the last episode of the “Same Team Y’all” podcast for a while. We are taking an extended hiatus to focus on our new podcast “Tree of Life” in which we will read and discuss the bible, in the Leif and Tess way, the way you’ve come to know and love, with humor and tangents galore. Feel free to join us, or we’ll talk to you again in approximately 14 years.

We discontinued our Tales from the Library segment to bring you a segment exploring spiritual topics. In fact we’re so jazzed about the bible we’re planning to launch a separate podcast in which we’ll read and discuss the greatest story ever told. Stay tuned for more info on that…

Leif’s loves for this episode are “The Bible in a Year” podcast, and a trip he recently took with his family to Great Wolf Lodge.

We’re discontinuing our Tales from the Library segment to bring you a new segment exploring spiritual topics. We’ve placed this segment at the end of the podcast, so folks who are uninterested can easily skip it. But if you choose not to skip, in this episode you’ll hear how one of your hosts was almost recruited into a cult as a teenager…

Great podcast

Tess and Eric are here to remind us we can all change the world for the better in little ways like focusing on stuff we love rather than stuff we hate, and looking for meaningful lessons as we go through our every day lives. They’re bringing much needed positivity to the table and I hope more and more people tune in to their philosophy of tolerance. Also they’re pretty funny and I love their pop culture references. Fun to follow on twitter too! Keep up the good work y’all <3

A great way to start your day

I listen to STY first thing in the grogginess of my morning, when I'm at the gym, and it's a wonderful boost of energy. Eric and Tess are so happy and positive and they never run out of steam. Their banter and sense of humor are great and often force me to pause my exercise to get that laugh out safely. These days when it's so easy to feel overwhelmed by some less-than-great things happening in the world, it's nice to have a show like this.
