    Episode 562 Nick welcomes John S. Dvorak, AI geek and co-host of DHUnplugged, for a wide-ranging chat from the sewer. They cover favorite music and coding soundtracks, bookshelves full of philosophy and California history, growing up with review copies of every game console, VR headaches, and raising a kid on 90s games and Playdate. From there it gets weird: JC’s takes on AI (workflows over agents, why he’s wary of regulation, and a story that made him walk away from Anthropic), data privacy, time and causality, aliens, ghosts, biophotons, Christian theology, and whether Roddenberry made a deal with the devil for Star Trek.
