Teija started as a coffee taster and in charge of quality control and roasting for Munali Coffee and developed the Munali Coffee brand locally getting Zambian coffee to the café’s, restaurants and hotels in Lusaka the capital city and around Zambia. She has also worked developing the international market for the Zambian coffee and the Munali brand. In 2008, she started roasting under her own brand, Marika’s Coffee, now rebranded to Peaberry Coffee Roasters Ltd.
