Fantastic podcast! Good quality, great chemistry between the hosts. The movies covered are wonderful - the episodes reminded me of a lot of movies I had forgotten about, and made me realize I should give a few others a second chance.

It's so fun to hear some thoughtful, funny, 2018 ladies take on nostalgic rom coms to see if they really are the way we remember them, and to sort of look at them with a modern lense to see if the romances would hold up.

I just finished the episode on The Gilmore Girls revival and I found myself banging my hands against the steering wheel as I agreed with every point the ladies made about the more ridiculous elements of the show. I just started listening to their recap of Harry Potter and it boggles my mind when I experience people who didn’t have the luxury of growing up with the Harry Potter books. I like that I get to share in the experience with them!

What happens after the romantic story ends?!?!!! Do the characters remain hopelessly in love? Or do they head their separate ways to make their own way in the world? These are questions that have plagued me since I was a teen and learned that ‘Happily Ever After’ might not always exist. Good thing Diana and Polina are here to discuss what’s really going on in my favorite romcoms and where my favorite characters are likely to end up. They also have this amazing ability to point out little tidbits and character quirks that will help you appreciate said movie/characters in a new way. Two thumbs way up!
