Our delegation is united against the sale of public lands. Our constituents in Idaho are also united, says every poll regarding public lands. Yours is fairly united for the privatization or transfer of your federal lands. So instead of using federal overreach for your senator to mandate Idaho sell its land to balance the budget, you could just sell yours. We aren’t for big government here across the border and would ask that Sen. Lee stay in his lane. His policy to sell lands is very unpopular in Idaho. Our BLM front country is where my kids and I mountain bike, hike, where our friends hunt, shoot and practice archery and where mule deer winter range. These places are not disposable. They are beloved. We really don’t want to have the sprawl we see in the Wasatch front. FLFTA works and is how land is disposed of properly with input from sportsman and communities. However, if you’d like to balance the federal budget by selling lands, then by all means. But please don’t use big government to mandate that we sell ours.
