    328. MONTHLY MEDICINE: October is Magic as Refuge

    Welcome to a new month, and with it, a new Monthly Medicine!  Our theme for October is Magic as Refuge. This is a twisty, windy, snake-like, slow roll of a month. It is a candle slowly burning, tea slowly steeping, giving way to itself as we traverse it. We are invited to reclaim and deepen into whatever we feel is rooted in magic, or feels magical in our lives -- as medicine, as refuge. We are invited to get tender, vulnerable, truthful, to bring our whole heart and soul to our relationship with that magic, to really ask for what we want and are hoping for.  The rest of the month is a complex web of invitations, some that will ask us to slow down, pause and reorient, and some that will call on us to put our foot on the gas a little more than we have been.  Through it all, magic remains the North Star.
