    “Send Coach John a message” I always enjoy finding things being shared from Duke Women’s Basketball (@DukeWBB) head coach, Kara Lawson. This one is titled  “I’m for me” and it is shared out there from: (@thepivot)  She’s right - this may sound like it’s coming from a place of arrogance, when it’s really coming from a place of self-confidence.  This is something that I found a strong connection to because as of late, I’m working hard to not worry about others’ opinions of me.  I need to get a better (and stronger) opinion of myself to myself!!  Other people are always going to have opinions (they are like people’s “back sides” … everyone has one).. But someone else’s opinion of me, doesn’t have to be mine for me!!     “Send Coach John a message” This is continuing on a journey of things I know I need to work on to keep trying to be my best.  This comes from a true All-Star, Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) I love his thoughts on this post:  “What we give is always a REFLECTION of who we are. l've learned that even when I don't receive the same reciprocity, kindness, or love, I refuse to become cold or because someone didn't know how to appreciate me. Their actions reveal their character. Mine reveal mine.     Adversity Reveals So Much - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 9-30-26 - #1996

    “Send Coach John a message” I always find posts from Inky Johnson (@inkyjohnson) to be powerful reminders for anyone willing to pay attention and listen along with really connecting to his words.  I find myself getting emotional at this one, since I know I have plenty of adversity in my life - but also realizing that there are so many people with far worse things going on than what I am facing.  I also am seeing the fact that I need to be better and do better with what he’s sharing here in this short clip.  It’s all about  “Adversity reveals character….”.  What are some things you can connect with from this that will help you to become better??     Checking In - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tues. 9-29-26 - #1995

    “Send Coach John a message” No post to share today, just a phone call that inspired me & encouraged me from good ‘ol Coach Dave.  In our conversation this morning, I think we both got inspired and encouraged with some new perspectives.  It changed my entire day talking with him along with helping me to see that I need to check in with others in my circle to do for them what Dave did for me.  We all need it for sure.  Before I recorded this episode in my mobile studio, I was driving without the radio on and no podcasts playing.  I was driving in silence and thinking about things.     A Great To Do List - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 9-28-26 - #1994

    How We Respond - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1993

    “Send Coach John a message” I found a fabulous thought from a difference maker that I’ve connected with many times before.  Damon West (@damonwest7) mentions this:  “Your beliefs are heard in your words, but they’re proven in the way you live. #BeACoffeeBean”  The post he connected to was this:  “Don’t just talk about what you believe; live it.  Let your faith show up in how you treat people, how you respond when life gets hard.  Your beliefs are heard in your words, but they’re proven in the way you live.”  This is such a powerful reminder for me to put more action into my life and have that back up who I am, what I believe, how I want my life to impact others, etc.  Again, every single human being - all throughout history - has times when life gets hard.  I want to be able to be ready to better respond to those moments, to people when they need help and to keep getting better in all that I do!  Again, please check out “The Coffee Bean” - it’s a wonderful book co-authored by Damon West with Jon Gordon.     Connecting to Peace - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 9-25-26 - #1992

    “Send Coach John a message” John O’Leary comes up with an amazing post (like he always does), again, get connected to John HERE and check out the amazing things he is doing to make a difference with others.  His thoughts on his post were these:  “My friends, peace is not found in knowing exactly how the story ends. It’s found in refusing to let the uncertainty of tomorrow steal the possibility of today.”  This was all connected to this quote from Trent Shelton:  “Peace is something you’ll never experience if you keep letting the things you can’t control, control you.”  There is not a more true statement and yes, it seems like he was directing this at me as I’m working hard trying to control this every day - including overnight too when I’m trying to sleep.  I’m getting better at it, but I’m not where I want to be, that’s for sure.     Greatness In Life - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thurs. 9-24-26 - #1991
