Charming Actual Play

Hosts Zach and Diana create such a warm and inviting show.

They depict RPG play in an honest way while weaving compelling stories. And there are just enough tangental conversations about holidays, Portugal, and whatever else peppered around the games to let the audience feel connected to the pair.

This is a show where you don’t feel like an audience. You feel like you’re sitting at the table with the hosts, making friends.

Chemistry and honesty

Listening to a married couple play tabletop is magical! It's often incredibly hard to get across how it feels to play a game with only one other person. People look at you like you asked to eat their wallet. "Can you do that?", they ask, confused.

Heart Points not only spins wonderful, vivid stories in many tabletop systems. But also gets across what it actually feels like to play them. To be the only two people in a room, telling a story together. There's laughter, pauses, and nervousness. But also brilliant moments, intensity, and inspired creativity. It's what I love about tabletop roleplaying.

I started with the recent Halloween special and have been slowly making my way through the rest. If you want to hear what it's like with just two people, I think you should too.
