Pick A Fight

First time I heard Joe speak was at a marriage conference on a church a few years back, then I listened to his and his wife’s podcast called the married life, and now this. He had great teachings and has taught me how to be more of a man and stay pure, and much more. God Bless you

I have known Joe for a few years now. One thing that Joe is, he’s definitely consistent. Joe is helped me a lot through struggles that I’ve had and just helping me to have a better perspective on how to be a better husband and leader in my marriage. He’s helped me learn that Christ calls us to give 100% into our marriage even if we feel like we are receiving 0%. This is also true for our walk as Christians. The man being the leader of his home is not about being the one that has the final say in everything or being the one that dictates how everything will go. Being in agreement with our spouse should always be our first priority in our marriage. Being the leader of our home is being a selfless servant to our spouse in everything. We need to die to ourselves and die for our spouse in everything. “Love your wife as Christ loved the church.” We need to be getting down on our hands and knees and washing our spouses feet every minute of the day because that’s what Christ did for us. He paid the ultimate price so we wouldn’t have to.
