Mike and Ely, you guys have renewed my love for golf! Started listening to you guys this August after a friend named Travis recommended your podcast! I’m a child of the 80s-90s like you guys. Love the banter. Just moved to Boise and picked up golf again after not golfing since early grad school (2012 ish), where I went out to my local course (aka my “Lakeside”) and was 13 over after 9. Just walked off the course, no rain check and didn’t touch my clubs til 2017. Total “Palmero”
Career, wife, kids… I am with you guys! Used to have a 7 handicap in college and now it’s a 17! Your advice with swing thoughts have both help and frustrated the HECK outta me! Found my “Rick” here at the local Boise Pro-golf…. Lots of hozzle shanks the first 6 rounds out after new Ping irons followed by YouTube rabbit holes! Now my handicap is down to 13.4 and I can also yell “C’mon Rick!!” Love the show and have shared it with my OG golf crew. Keep at it fellas!
