I liked where the podcast was going but the character will get caught on words almost like a stutter (repeating words like “it, I, or they” 2 or 3 times when it’s not necessary) or will fill a pause with sounds similar to how many of us use um, uh, or like. It’s super distracting. It may have only been towards the beginning and may have been to add the effect that she is unprepared to be captain and is scared, but less is more of those kinds of things. When it’s that prevalent, it seems more like the actor is flying off the cuff and doesn’t know what they are supposed to be saying. I was only able to get half way through the second episode because I couldn’t listen to anymore. Maybe if I come back to it another time, I can get through more. It is a neat concept.
