    Chiro Union Podcast Episode 08

Welcome back! I'm your host, Dr. BJ Roca, and fellow Doctor of Chiropractic. This is the origin story episode of ChiroUnion. But I don't stop there. In addition to how ChiroUnion was created, I explain some of the misunderstandings and myths about organized unions and how the facts compare, the necessity of having a profession organized in a legal setting as compared to how the individual may suffer a worse outcome without having the backing of a union, what ChiroUnion stands for and explains its stance on the profession of Chiropractic. By the end, you should have a crystal clear idea of what ChiroUnion is and why it's paramount and desperately needed in our profession. Then, as a bonus, a few wise words from the BJ in Chiropractic, Dr. BJ Palmer DC. It's up to us to organize. It's up to us to serve and save this profession. Facebook Twitter Blog Website

    Chiro Union Podcast Episode 6

Welcome back! It’s me, Dr. BJ Roca DC and I’m back with episode #0006 of ChiroUnion Podcast. This episode is going to be a little different. Instead of focusing on issues that primarily effect Chiropractors already in this profession, I have a conversation with a current Chiropractic student at Logan University. Mr., and soon to be doctor, Ford discusses a few topics that Chiropractic students are STILL wrestling with as well as providing some personal insight as to his own motivations to become a Chiropractor. Mr. Ford even offers a glimpse into what drives him while still in school. Peppered throughout are some explanations as to what “Straight vs Mixer” meant historically and what it means currently, what Chiropractic students should seek out during their time in school, and several more examples of hindsights I’m sure most of us have had since graduating. Regardless of where you are in your carrier, you’ll want to listen. These students will become not just our colleagues in Chiropractic, but the future of the profession as well. Have a listen and enjoy. Stay subscribed to automatically download the latest episodes as soon as their released.

Chiro Union Podcast Episode 5 Marketing Principles Con't.

Welcome back for episode 5 of the ChiroUnion Podcast. As always, I'm your host, Dr. BJ Roca. This is a continuation of the previous episode in which I share with my fellow Chiropractors a few more, 100% FREE and with no strings attached, marketing strategies with explanations included. Or to put it another way, I'm giving you the Glengarry leads.  Here's a teaser of what's covered: ABC steps to cover before you can ABC for vs against the 3 Cs / 4 Ps of marketing and a brief glance at some ads in the latest issue of "Dynamic Chiropractic"  Of course, that's just a taste of what I cover while also diving much deeper. It's important to consider how we as a profession communicate with the public. By following time-tested and proven marketing strategies, we can unite this profession and better serve our patients. When this episode wraps up, you'll have at least one, no, TWO ideas you can implement almost immediately. Be sure to grab your copy, (I know you have one), of "Dynamic Chiropractic" and follow along. You'll see exact examples of what I discuss in this episode. There's a little surprise at the end that you'll want to stick around for. Check Us Out on Facebook Twitter Blog Website

    Episode 4 Gallup's Chiropractic Poll

It's your host, Dr. BJ Roca and this is episode 0004 of the ChiroUnion Podcast. In this episode, I'll break down the most recent Gallop Poll that was funded by Palmer College of Chiropractic. Then, at no additional charge, I'll identify the major problem points the Poll outlines and provide a simple, unifying strategy to put all Doctors of Chiropractic on the same patient-centered message. No typical "Guru" scheming or gouging. I show the contrasts between the "Guru" approach as compared to the time-tested Wilk's Foundation approach to marketing. It's simple and you're getting it for FREE. There's plenty more, so have a listen. 2016 Gallup-Palmer College of Chiropractic Annual Report: Americans’ Perceptions of Chiropractic 2015 Palmer Gallup Poll PDF The 2016 Palmer Gallup Poll PDF

    Chiro Union Podcast #1

Welcome to episode #0001 of the Chiro Union podcast. The purpose of Chiro Union podcast is to help identify problem areas as well as specific threats to the Chiropractic profession with the goal of uniting true Chiropractors to help solidify our profession. This podcast is by Chiropractors and for Chiropractors. In this episode, I introduce myself as the host of Chiro Union podcast and fellow Chiropractor Dr. BJ Roca. I share my thoughts on how the doctor of physical therapy, (DPT), is in direct competition with the Chiropractic profession. I explain why the failure to recognize the DPT profession as a direct threat that can and will lead to the demise of the Chiropractic profession. I don’t stop there. I provide a clear breakdown and comparison of the two professions as well as provide what is hopefully a unifying plan to bring us together to stop further erosion, and possible extinction, of our profession.
