Desert Island Dips

While the world goes to pot, this was a delightful find on a July morning. Sadly, it appears I am 2+ years out and there are no more episodes to be had, but I appreciate the work of Emily and Tom. I definitely think there’s room for new episodes. My island includes queso, sour cream, french onion dip, Frank’s Red Hot, and homemade salsa.

Emily and Tom give us history and opinions on a variety of sauces. We uncover “good guys of condiment history” and occasionally review the “condimandments” (what qualifies a sauce or topping as a condiment). Their arguments are good-natured and fun. My only complaint is that I can’t listen with my kids because it sometimes gets a bit risqué or a cuss word slips out.
