Interesting contents on bay area I haven't found anywhere else

I'm an immigrant and newcomer in bay area. This podcast offers a lot of local, personel, historical, emotional, fact-based insights into the Bay Area particularly SF culture scene. It makes me rediscover the city and feel more connected (or connected in another way besides 'tech'). I occasionally read SF Chronicle but the newspaper is too formal a media and lacks some straightforwardness and audacity. SF is such an amazing place with so many hidden gens. Please keep the good work!

Love this podcast because it warms my cold Bay Area heart

I came here as a fan of The Poop (look on SFGATE) because I missed Peter Hartlaub’s hilarious articles about Bay Area celebrities and landmarks from my childhood. He manages to always find the story within the story in his work at the Chronicle as well as in this podcast He asks great questions of his guests and his trips down Bay Area memory lane make me so wistful for the good old days before Silicon Valley was even a term. Keep it up, Peter!! Love this show!
