the lady narrator is clearly very knowledgeable/prepared on the tales and listening to her speak some Mandarin (when she's pronouncing names) is really beautiful (it being a pretty language and her having a nice voice). her husband's voice is very soothing, I dig his sense of humor, and it's surprisingly fun/cute listening to their rapport. WE ALL MISS YOU TWO SO PLEASE COME BACK

Painfully slow, like both speakers suffer disability

I love this show! The stories are interesting and usually a little whimsical in a way that feels very different from Western tales. They are often philosophical and the hosts Yang and Eric always share an interesting interpretation as to the meaning behind the stories. Yang has a lovely voice and fills out the stories with historical and cultural context. You can tell a lot of work goes into it, and the product is a short very fun few minutes that always leaves me feeling pleasant and with something to think about. There’s a good amount of back content for me to dig into, but I hope they will continue making new episodes!
