Great Podcast and research - ads are a little odd and full of static

Fan a Payne and his style of research and podcasting. Your add choice for this odd. Also many have static that is very annoying.
Mind boggling

This riveting, and compelling story of this biggest robbery of children lives stolen is deeply abhorrent. So many unanswered questions, but the podcast for this huge Atlanta heartbreak was done very expertly. The details are just ghastly. A polarizing hidden truth out so publicly that it’s blinding. Listening becomes almost hypnotic. I’ve seen a documentary or two on this crime, but it does not compare to this podcast Atlanta Monster. So sad what happened, so tragic the resolution not real resolve for the parents. This is deep let me tell you. I have to add, only thing I didn’t particularly care for were the episodes on Q&A. It’s already designed as a Q& A within the series of this podcast.
Woke and riddled with ads

Seems like three minutes of ads every five minutes. Out of control and unpleasant. Less true crime and more woke narrative.
Not his finest work
09/18/2024
I admittedly enjoyed Payne’s work in Up & Vanished and I’ve done a minimal amount educating myself on the Atlanta Child Murders, however it doesn’t take a SME to see this isn’t an “investigative” podcast, it’s entirely full of opinions (mostly from people not connected to the situation) without any evidence. What little evidence this show did have seemed to come from law enforcement who believed Williams did the killings. Trying to proclaim Williams’ innocence strictly because of his race or his size is just narrow minded. Obviously Payne is growing as an artist and as a result he has gotten better with time but this series lacks any real substance and seems to serve strictly to push racial drama. Racism absolutely existed, still does, but we also know that Williams fits the shoes of just about every serial killer you’ll read about. C- at best.
