Our Approach to Weddings in 2020 (Plus a C200 Review)
On this episode I'm sharing some thoughts and updates on our 2020 wedding season and giving my thoughts on the C200 after using it at both weddings. What it's been like shooting during COVID, the gear we're using, my mental approach to creativity and more!
It's JULY and we just finished shooting our first two weddings of the season which is CRAZY. In the past we would be 10-12 weddings into our season by now! So in this episode I give an update to our 2020 approcah to weddings with everything going on. I also share my thoughts on the C200 after haivng used it at two different weddings. There are a lot of things I love about this camera but also a few things I think the C100 does better. And then I also touch on if I regret buying the C200 after the official announcement of the EOS R5/R6!

New Canon EOS R5 and R6 are HERE (Thoughts and Impressions)
In this episode I share my thoughts on the brand new Canon EOS R5 and R6 and the impact they will have on the camera world in general! These cameras have been rumored for months and months and were finally officially announced today. They are very unique cameras in terms of specs and seem WAY too good to be on paper. I share my thoughts on these cameras and what it means for the wedding filmmaking industry as a whole and how I plan to use them as part of my camera arsenol.

Episode 24- ND Filters Explained (Deep Dive)

We recently posted a YT video talking all about ND filters but I wasn't able to go as in depth as I would like on some specific topics as I would like. So this podcast episode goes deeper on all things ND including a full breakdown of shutter speed in video and how it affects motion blur, recent discoveries about ISO and my thought process when using ND filters and shooting!

Episode 21 | Canon EOS R Thoughts & Impressions
We're back baby! After a long break from an official "Ty's Tech LIne" episode we're back with a solo episode! In this episode I discuss and share my thoughts and impressions on the Canon EOS R. I purchased this camera in April 2019 and have used it for 6 weddings so far. I share what I like about the camera, how I decided to purchase the EOS R as opposed to other mirrorless cameras and how it's changed the way I shoot on a wedding day.

I LOVE listening to Ty's Tech Line! From the very first episode with Katelyn James to the episode with Ashley's father about the life of a UPS driver! My husband and I are photographers and students of Katelyn James and my husband works full time as a UPS driver as well. We tend to live in a "microwave lifestyle" at times, always wanting quick results and don't usually take the time to see the person behind it or the process it takes. Thank you Ty for shining light on what all UPS drivers go through!
