    Is Todd Monken setting the right tone in Browns training camp?

    Browns training camp looks very different this year, with longer, more physical practices. We’ve seen a couple of fights and Tuesday’s practice was brought to an end by Monken after things got a little too physical.     Deshaun Watson will start the first preseason game; does he have the inside track to win the job?

    Browns head coach Todd Monken has chosen Deshaun Watson as his starter for the preseason opener in Chicago. Watson is expected to play the entire first half and Shedeur Sanders will play the third quarter. Sanders will start next Saturday against the Bills at Huntington Bank Field. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe reacted to Monken’s decision on the Orange and Brown Talk podcast and tried to decipher if it could mean that Watson has the edge in the quarterback competition.     Todd Monken does things his way and the Browns release a depth chart

    Browns head coach Todd Monken had to take some ownership in front of his team for his reaction to a slew of penalties that ended Monday’s practice. It was another window into Monken’s approach as a head coach and how he does things.
