    Labour's Brexit Betrayal

Ian Collins reacts as Tory Leader Kemi Badenoch has gone on the attack, accusing Prime Minister Andy Burnham of quietly gearing up for a surprise snap general election as early as next May. Badenoch claimed the Prime Minister’s economic rhetoric and policy tone clearly signal an early run for a fresh mandate. At the same time, Badenoch has firmly shut the door on any right-wing alliance, explicitly ruling out any electoral pact or deal with Reform UK. However, over at Reform, Nigel Farage is seizing on Burnham’s recent stance on Brexit. Critics argue Burnham’s latest missteps over Europe have given Farage "the biggest boost of his political career," potentially paving Reform's path right toward Number 10. UK population hits new peak of 69.5million but growth slows as net migration and birth rates drop Meanwhile, the row over early prisoner releases is boiling over. Ministers are facing fierce backlash over the release of thousands of inmates in a bid to ease prison overcrowding. Shocking reports detail early-release convicts thanking the Prime Minister directly as they step out of jail—with several openly admitting to reporters they fully intend to reoffend. The UK is reportedly locked in emergency talks with European partners over critical diesel reserves following an ultimatum from US President Donald Trump. Donald Trump has demanded that the UK immediately tap into and deploy emergency oil and diesel reserves to stabilise global fuel markets. With the UK’s fuel supply chain under pressure, government officials are working overtime to prevent shortages at the pump. Burnham's Early Prisoner Release

Ian Collins unpacks the latest as around 700 offenders serving sentences of up to 19 months are scheduled for release starting this morning, marking the initial phase of a government early-release scheme expected to free more than 4,500 prisoners by June. The policy has drawn fierce criticism from victim advocacy watchdogs and domestic abuse survivors, who live in fear for their safety. In one case, a survivor of abuse reported fleeing abroad ahead of her former partner's planned release. The government has officially scrapped its "one in, one out" migrant arrangement, ending the framework previously used to manage specific return and exchange agreements for asylum seekers and migrants. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has announced that she will ban school leavers from moving directly onto unemployment benefits upon leaving education. Separately, former cabinet minister Alan Milburn suggested that businesses and employers should begin teaching primary school pupils about work from an early age. PM Andy Burnham has indicated that holding a second referendum on the UK's relationship with the European Union remains an option. His comments have sparked political debate, with critics warning that rejoining the EU or its single market could lead to a return to free movement of people. Meanwhile - the plot thickens - Andy Burnham has suggested potential Iranian involvement regarding the recent foiled terror plot targeting RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire despite 5 suspects being released on bail. Passengers intervened to regain control of a commercial airliner following an attempted hijacking in which a co-pilot reportedly stabbed the captain. According to reports, an Israeli plumber aboard the aircraft helped stabilize and control the plunging plane using knowledge gained from aviation television programs, preventing a major disaster. And Veteran broadcaster and campaigner Dame Esther Rantzen has died at the age of 86. Following her passing, details emerged of an emotional farewell letter to her fans, sealed until her death, in which she wrote the final message: "See you on the other side." Burnham's Election Campaign?

Ian Collins reacts to the latest as Prime Minister Andy Burnham has delivered what is being described as Labour's most left-wing address to a party conference since the 1970s. In it, he pledged to… Triple Lock & Social Care: Burnham confirmed plans to scrap the state pension triple lock, warning that tax rises are necessary to fund a new National Care Service. Electoral & Housing Reform: Labour is set to fight the next election on a platform to replace the First-Past-The-Post voting system. Alongside Angela Rayner, Burnham also unveiled proposals granting local councils powers to seize empty and private rental properties. Energy & EU Relations: The government announced the creation of the public "Great British Grid" to direct electricity infrastructure investment, while Burnham signalled openness to exploring closer ties with the EU, mocking Brexiteer rhetoric on national sovereignty. Meanwhile, details have emerged surrounding the arrest of five men near RAF Fairford. Authorities confirmed that one of the individuals in the group placed a 999 emergency call to police prior to the arrests being made. Police say a quantity of petrol but no explosive devices were found during searches of the vans. And The UK's controversial "one in, one out" migrant exchange agreement is reportedly near total breakdown. It comes as the Home Office is actively attempting to deport a boat migrant who gained notoriety on TikTok after calling for violence against Jewish people. Reports reveal the individual is currently housed in a taxpayer-funded three-bedroom property while legal proceedings continue. Labour Prepares For Early General Election?

Jeremy Kyle reacts as Downing Street advisers are pushing for an early general election NEXT YEAR. Several senior members of Andy Burnham’s team believe that calling an election in the spring would give Labour the best chance of another majority. A YouGov megapoll released yesterday showed Labour would remain the largest party with 241 seats. The Conservatives would be in second place with 130 seats, better than their result in 2024, while Reform would be pushed into third place with 123 seats. In contrast, last year's megapoll showed Reform UK winning 311 seats. The number of small-boat migrants who have reached Britain under Labour is larger than the entire British Army. 781 migrants arrived on Wednesday – the highest daily tally this year. It pushed the total since the general election to 83,279 – passing the Army's 83,000 soldiers. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said. 'Labour has let an entire army-sized population cross the Channel illegally, Education Secretary Lucy Powell came under fire last night after she denied that benefits claimants spend their handouts on drink or gambling. She said welfare recipients spend their 'very little' money on rent and paying household bills rather than luxuries. Kemi Badenoch this week announced plans for a crackdown on benefits, with the jobless who have paid little in taxes seeing their handouts cut by 30 per cent. The criminal justice system is prioritising paedophiles before children, Britain’s most senior police officer has said after a child sex offender was bailed to a flat near a children’s playground. The Metropolitan Police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley attacked the decision to free Zafer Dogan as “yet another example of victims being let down”. The 32-year-old had admitted taking thousands of photos of people without their knowledge before using software to turn some of them into sexually explicit images, including by digitally removing clothing. Burnham Caves To Trump

Jeremy Kyle reacts as The Prime Minister Andy Burnham goes all the way across the Atlantic, sits down with Donald Trump, and gets ABSOLUTELY SLAMMED over the Chagos Islands deal! Trump takes one look at it, calls it a "terrible, ridiculous deal," and now Burnham’s dragged right back to the drawing board, admitting the whole thing is under review! Fancy getting schooled on the world stage. And it doesn't end there! Burnham's over at the UN, preaching about stopping Russian disinformation and pushing for global AI rules, while secretly dropping hints that he wants to drag us straight back into the EU! And who does he blame for Brexit? "Russian outside forces!". So not the 52% of Brits who actually voted to leave? The Tories have drawn level with Reform UK for the first time in 18 months in a fresh boost for Kemi Badenoch. Labour is currently on 23% while Tories and Reform are both on 21% according to the latest YouGov poll. Earl Spencer has agreed to edit his upcoming Princess Diana memoir following legal threats from broadcaster Piers Morgan over statements alleged to be false. Piers has since rejected Earl Spencer's apology, branding the text "complete lies" and calling for all existing copies of the book to be destroyed. A heavily packed "mega-dinghy" made a 38-hour journey from Normandy across the English Channel to the UK, while monitored and escorted by the French navy. Around 60 migrants started the journey from north of Bayeux, just before 10am on Monday, and arrived in the Kent port after midnight following reports they had been bound for Gosport. Six people were arrested after anti-migrant protesters clashed with police following the crossing.
