    Rooted | 1 Corinthians 15:22 | Pastor Lindsay Willis

We’re continuing our study within our curriculum of “Woven”. This week we look into how in the very first pages of Scripture, God created a world overflowing with goodness and invited humanity to partner with Him, live by His wisdom and reflect His image. But when humans chose their own way over God’s, a pattern of rebellion took hold that no human could break, until Jesus. This lesson traces that story from the Garden of Eden to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus, the Last Adam, chose God’s will over His own and turned the tree of death into the tree of life. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 (NIV) Semester Study Guide: Woven Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley Semester Handout: “I am in Christ” Statements | Sisterhood at River Valley Personal Application  What is one thing you will do differently after hearing this lesson? What has the Lord revealed to you this week while you declare the “I Am in Christ” statements out loud?  With 11 campuses meeting each week and a virtual group for our online campus, we'd love to see you at one of our Sisterhood groups.
