"How to Receive Help from God." - In Life and Career. Part 1

There have been many times in my life when I felt weighed down by responsibilities, ambitions, and the demands of a busy schedule. Yet, through decades of walking with God, I have learned that I am never alone in carrying these burdens. God Himself desires to help us, and the help we receive truly comes from the Lord, just as Psalm 121 promises. I remember vividly a moment on a mountain peak when God made this Scripture come alive for me, transforming an ancient verse into a personal assurance that spoke directly to the pressures I faced. God's Word is living and active today, just as it was then, and He remains faithful to meet us right where we are. God’s willingness to help us in every area of our lives—including our careers—is not just a hope, but a proven reality I have experienced time and again. It all begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, receiving Him as Savior and Lord, and welcoming the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how faith shapes leadership, whether raising children, providing for my family, pursuing excellence in business, or fulfilling God’s purpose in retirement. The key is to live each day aware of God’s presence. When you know He is with you, you no longer strive in your own strength, but draw on the true spiritual power He provides. Let us be practical and honest as we seek to live with alignment and integrity. When God is pleased with what we do, He pours out His blessing and gives us the strength to accomplish what He has called us to begin. The Holy Spirit, whom Jesus called our Helper in John 14:26, is always present to guide and empower us. I encourage you: become aware of God’s presence, acknowledge your need for His help, and step forward in faith. If this message has encouraged you, please share it with someone who needs hope today. Your testimony or review may help others discover the help and hope that God so freely offers. God Gives You A Vision And Leads You Step By Step

You can make smart plans and still feel lost when the pressure hits. If you have been asking God for direction about your career, your family, or what you are supposed to do next, this message brings you back to a steady, biblical way to hear and follow God’s guidance. We talk about receiving a vision from God that keeps Jesus Christ at the center, then expands into every major area of life: your spiritual life, your vocational life, your family life, and even your social and recreation life. Tony shares a personal timeline of vision and fulfillment starting in 1998, showing how God leads step by step over years, not just in one big moment. The anchor Scripture is John 16:13, where Jesus calls the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Truth who guides us into all truth and reveals what is to come, which connects discernment, wisdom, and long-term direction. From there, we break guidance down into three practical responses: faith, trust, and obedience. Faith keeps you seeking God even when the vision feels impossible. Trust looks like Proverbs 3:5-6 in real life, acknowledging God in all your ways instead of leaning on your own understanding. Obedience turns that inner prompting into action, whether God is telling you to move, to wait, or to take one small step at the right time. If you need clarity for your next decision, listen closely, write the vision down, and make room for the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit. Subscribe for more biblical leadership and life guidance, share this with a friend who needs direction, and leave a review with the area where you are asking God to lead you next. Part 2 "Rejoicing in Your Victories! In Life and Career."

What do you do when the pressure is real, the odds feel stacked, and you are tired of trying to “fight through it” on your own? Tony Williams shares a faith filled message on rejoicing in your victories in life and career, rooted in a bold biblical conviction: God has already made us victorious, and our response is to sing for joy and declare His loving kindness in the morning and His faithfulness at night. We walk through the promise of 2 Chronicles 20:17 and what it means when God says, “You need not fight in this battle.” Tony connects that word to everyday struggles, from health crises to financial strain, and shows a practical way to use Bible promises without getting vague: name the situation, find the Scripture, meditate on it, and proclaim it in faith. Along the way, we talk about spiritual identity and spiritual warfare in plain language: if you have received Jesus, you are a child of God, and the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you. You are not facing your circumstances alone. The episode also explores Galatians 2:20 and the life changing truth that Christ lives in you. That shifts how we lead, how we speak, and how we show up in the workplace, in family life, and in moments when fear tries to take over. We revisit Jehoshaphat’s story and the surprising strategy of praise before the victory appears, learning why “we fight from victory, not for victory.” If you need Christian encouragement, biblical teaching, and a clear next step for trusting God, press play. What Happens When You Believe!

Believing God is not just a feeling or a personality trait, nor is it a motivational tool. True belief is the moment when we say yes to God and His amazing grace meets us right where we are. Over the years, I have returned again and again to the liberating truth of Ephesians 2:8: God saves us by His grace when we believe, and we cannot take credit for it. Salvation is God’s gift to us, not something we can earn through our own efforts, appearances, or striving. This truth has anchored my life and career, reminding me that everything begins with His grace and our simple trust in Him. Romans 10:9 reveals what it truly means to be saved: entering into a personal, intimate relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. I have seen firsthand how this relationship awakens us to our true identity in Christ. No matter how successful we may appear outwardly, without God’s life within us, we remain spiritually empty. But when we place our faith in Him, we become new creations. This new identity in Christ transforms every part of our lives—how we think, the choices we make, and how we show up in our work, our homes, and every relationship. I am experiencing this transformation myself, and I know God desires it for you as well. Faith becomes real when it is tested under pressure. I have learned that when we act on what we believe, God reveals Himself in powerful ways, and we begin to see ourselves through His eyes. I remember a time in my career when I trusted God with a significant opportunity, and He brought about an outcome far greater than I expected—even turning a competitor into a partner. If you are seeking encouragement, a deeper understanding of your identity in Christ, and faith that makes a difference in your work and daily life, I invite you to join me. Let’s trust God together, pray with expectation, and watch Him fulfill His promises. Share this message with someone who needs hope today, and let me know what truth you are putting into practice this week. Send Tony a Text https://www.seldicompany.com/

"Why Do You Worry? - Only Believe!

“Why do you worry? - Only Believe!!” Jesus says, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe!” What is dominating your thinking right now? Is it a financial need you have? Is it the circumstances of a loved one who desperately needs the grace and favor of God in their life? Is it a worry or a fear about your health and whether God has healed you? If anything causes you to focus your mind more on what Jesus is, who you are in Jesus, and the fact that His promises always come to pass, you are open to the attack of Satan to make you doubt, fear, and ultimately not believe the promises of God. Any day that we do not feed our spirit with God’s promises from the Scriptures is a wasted day! God created you with three parts: spirit, soul, and body. Our spirit is one with Jesus, and He lives in us and builds us up in our spirit by the living Word of God. We meditate on the promises of God to build our spirits, and from our spirit the benefits overflow to our soul; our mind, will, and emotions, and then to our body; made strong and healthy by the Word of God. Do you want to be free from being afraid? Obey Jesus.   Do what He says, for faith without works is dead. Jesus says, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 What was said to Jairus, He says to us today: “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”  Jesus took the dead girl by the hand and called, saying, “Child, arise!” Her spirit returned, and she got up immediately; then He gave orders for something to be given her to eat.” Luke 8:54-55 Place your circumstance into the promise of Jesus now. And watch Him work! Tony Williams Send Tony a Text https://www.seldicompany.com/

"A Guarantee For Life and Career!"

A “guarantee” sounds comforting until you read the fine print. I open with a blunt question: what can any person truly guarantee in life and career without conditions attached? From there, I share the only guarantee I’ve found that doesn’t collapse under pressure, delays, or changing circumstances: the promises of God.  We walk through what Scripture says about those promises and who they’re for. I connect our identity as children of God (John 1:12) to confidence and direction, then anchor the teaching in 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 where God’s promises in Jesus are yes and amen and the Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee in our hearts. If you’re looking for Christian encouragement, faith-based leadership insights, and biblical guidance for hard decisions, this message is built for you.  I also get practical about how to hold a promise when the timeline feels slow: receive it in prayer, meditate on it, speak it aloud, and keep trusting even when you can’t see results yet. To make it real, I share a personal testimony from August 20, 2012, when I needed a new corporate assignment and God led me to Psalm 66:19-20. I wrote down what I believed for, and I’ve watched God fulfill it, step by step, to His glory.  If you need steady faith for your next move, press play, then subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find these Evergreen Leader Development Insights. The Reward Of Seeking God - In Life and Career.

Greetings, My Friends. In my own journey, I have learned that success is not always a sign that we are on the right path. In fact, it is often in moments of achievement that we are most vulnerable to drifting away from God’s best for us. My encouragement to you, drawn from years of walking with the Lord, is this: seek God above all else. As 2 Chronicles 26:5 reminds us, intimacy with Him is the true foundation for lasting purpose, wise leadership, and the forward momentum He desires for your life and career. Let us look together at 2 Chronicles 26:5 and the account of King Uzziah. Scripture tells us, “As long as he sought the Lord, God prospered him.” I have seen this truth play out in my own life and in the lives of many leaders I have mentored. Uzziah’s growth was directly connected to his pursuit of God and the wise counsel of Zechariah, a spiritual advisor who understood God’s vision. When that accountability faded, pride entered, and what seemed like unstoppable success became a sobering warning. This lesson is vital for every Christian leader who desires to walk in biblical prosperity and remain grounded as God opens new doors. I encourage you to put these truths into practice through spiritual disciplines that have shaped my own walk with God: seek Him first in every decision, trust Him wholeheartedly rather than relying on your own understanding, and always acknowledge that every good thing comes from His hand. Surround yourself with wise counsel, especially as God brings success, and you will see His faithfulness in every season. Tony Williams Send Tony a Text https://www.seldicompany.com/
