Musician and fellow podcaster, Colton Geschwandtner, discusses the lessons he has learned from Coheed and Cambria. The band has taught him things about life, love, and responsibility that his father, friends, and the rest of the world didn't. And he would not be the person he is today without them. EP07: Sleater-Kinney

Relatively new Sleater-Kinney fan Kendall Perry is too young to have experienced the Riot Grrrl movement that gave birth to SK, but more than twenty years later, Kendall is a good example of how the band is continuing to impact people with their music and values. EP04: Ricky Martin

William Hung, pop-culture sensation of 2004, talks about how after discovering Ricky Martin, he went from being an average college student who hated his major to becoming a household name who was living his dream as a touring and recording performer. He didn’t need Paula Abdul to tell him that he was going to Hollywood to actually “go to Hollywood,” and he didn’t need to actually win American Idol to feel like a winner; he just needed his spirit and a Ricky Martin song. We may have both outgrown our obsession with The White Stripes, but they were undeniably an enormous part of our teen years and continue to be a constant source of nostalgia.
