Werewolf: The Podcast

Full disclosure: I have never played any of the werewolf games. The episode Black Furies Tribe details an entirely new clan of werewolves to use in your game. The host delves very deeply into not only the material presented in the book, but also how they fit in the larger world. This guy really knows his stuff! The only thing which bothered me a bit was the unexpected feminist angle the show took. I’m just not really into gender politics, and this episode has a lot of that. It’s not bad, but it just felt strange listening to a dude talk about feminism and the like. That one thing aside, a very solid episode all around.

Uhhg what overly woke bigots! OF COURSE Pentex always approves abortion for their employees! And the constant harping on authors from 20-30 years ago for not meeting current social mores? So silly. And in the Wild West Companion? SO funny to hear you talk about the pseudo-Christian garou! “They need to be educated” “wayward people” “need to be brought back into the fold or contained” “wyrm tainted or almost” What a bunch of cultural imperialists. You would have them re-educated away from their culture? What garbage secularist bias. Carlisle Indian School anyone? You sound just like the worst of the 19th century “white mans burden” imperialists. Yeesh. Who are you to say what is and isn’t acceptable religion?

Focuses on the wrong things. Informative sure, but dry and kinda boring. Besides, the cheap shots at the other werewolf podcast is off putting and kinda lame
