    Family Ties Reintroduction

    Welcome back to Family Ties. Back in 2018 we introduced this series by celebrating the 25th anniversary of Crazy Hood Productions. There we captured their story, of how the crew originated and how they evolved. Today, we celebrate the crews 30th anniversary. In these past 5 years the crew has gained massive success, by becoming award winners, partnering with hip-hop's elite, and championing the world of podcasting. On October 20th, 2023 Crazy Hood Productions were honored with their proclamation day and the key to the city of Kendall. October 20th will now and forever be "Crazy Hood Productions Day". With all that success, loyalty and respect still hold true within the crew, as they continue to evolve as professionals and friends. 30 years of friendship that continues to evolve! Always authentic, always crazy.

    In today’s episode we talk to our extended Crazy Hood family.  You’ll hear stories from Ras Kass, Big Teach & Wrekonize. You’ll hear Monie Love speak about her first recording session with DJ EFN and stories from Capone when he came home and Crazy Hood accepted him with open arms.   We’ll spend some time reflecting on the past but showing love and admiration to the Hoods with stories from Phil The Mayor & Skam2?.  We’ll also share moments with Hazardis Soundz & Deejay KNS and stories from David Banner and a familiar name you’ve heard quite often on Family Ties… Nick Fury.  All of these stories were shared from a place of love & support of Crazy Hood Productions.
