Days 16,17 (Feb 25) - USA curling's golden moment, Ledecka's double, and a bizarre Closing Ceremony

It finally over, but not before some final excitment! Team USA wins a surprise gold in curling, and Germany loses a hockey heart-breaker to OAR. Ledecka completes a historic double gold, and a momentary loss of concentration cost an Austrian skier a silver medal. I also talk about the Closing Ceremonies, why Johnny, Tara, and Terry are good choices as hosts, and how I think the IOC missed an opportunity to promote another upcoming event. Troy Does The Games is not affiliated with the IOC, the USOC, or anything else, really. Don't sue me. bro.

Day 15 (Feb 23) - Woe Canada, Zagitova reigns, Confusing new events

It was a rough day for our neighbors up north, who, despite winning a gold medal in ski cross, suffered losses in both men's hockey and curling. I talk about the free skate / conclusion of the ladies' figure skating competition. Plus, I scope out the major events coming up, including Team USA's Gold Medal Game in curling (10:15pm Pacific) and two new events I barely understand (speed skating mass start, alpine skiing team event). Troy Does The Games is not affiliated with the IOC, USOC, or really anyone or anything. Don't sue me, bro.

Day 14 (Feb 22) - More USA wins! Hockey, curling, Shiffrin, and Wise

Team USA's good times continue, much to the chagrin of Team Canada. We take the gold in women's ice hockey over the 4-time defending champions in an incredible shootout, and our men's curling team upsets the three-time defending gold medalists from up north, earning their own shot at gold. The USA also picks up a gold and three silvers in ski and snowboard action, including a silver for Mikaela Shiffrin in alpine combined. I talk about all of this, as well as the event coming up today, including the ladies' figure skating free skate and the men's hockey semifinals. Day 13 (Feb 21) - USA! USA! Gold, silver, two bronzes, and a curling win, too!

What a day!! USA women bring home a haul of medals with some gutsy, gutsy performances. History is made in cross-country skiing, AND the USA men's curling team qualifies for the medal rounds. In this episode, I cannot contain myself...and don't think I should. More action coming up today with the women's Alpine Combined, the women's hockey gold medal match, and the men's curling semifinals. Days 11, 12 (Feb 20) - A bonus bobsled gold, Virtue-Moir love, and clutch curling wins

After a day off for my birthday, I return with lots of results and quite a few opinions. I recap the Ice Dance competition, cover the extra gold medal in 2-man bobsled/bobsleigh, and do a deep dive on the current state of curling for Team USA and Team Canada. I also look ahead to the ladies' figure skating competition, the women's downhill, and the cross country team sprint (praying for Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall) Troy Does The Games is not affiliated with the IOC, USOC, or any other official entity. I'm just a guy, sitting in front of a microphone, asking you to love me. Don't sue me, bro.
