Thank you Patti for this great podcast! I lost my husband of 25 years almost 3 years ago & your reflections of anger & “shedding” the ring, title of widow, all of that express exactly how I felt in my early stages of grief & they are ok, as you say- we all handle it differently. You addressed topics that we don’t want to talk about but we need to talk about. I share your podcast with all of my friends who lose their husbands & feel it speaks to each of us. I am not a widow, but work with widows in my business, and wanted to have a better understanding of what they are going through so I can do a better job for them. Very insightful. Any person could benefit from listening to be more supportive of all the widows in our lives, or for our own futures. Since listening to these type of podcasts I already see how many non-widows don’t have a clue what it’s really like, and the myriad ways it affects your life and sense of self. Thanks to the widows for sharing your stories. The casual interview format focusing on one widow’s experience at a time was great.

Kindness helps when you go through something tragic in life. This podcast exudes compassion and is a heartfelt listen for when you need to be reminded of the support that is all around us if we open up to it.
