    *Apologies for the weird audio 45 minutes in* Ahoy, pirates! The latest Sea of Thieves Hotfix has officially dropped, bringing a fresh wave of adjustments to the chaotic Last Ship Standing mode. Rare has been closely monitoring the community’s feedback and stepped in to tweak the overall pacing of matches. You can expect a better flow that keeps battles from dragging on indefinitely, alongside a much-appreciated extension for victors to catch their breath and claim their spoils at the end of a fight. They’ve also squashed a major bug that was leaving some crews stranded before the battle even began. However, the seas aren't entirely smooth just yet—the developers are actively tracking a few lingering performance hiccups behind the scenes.     Ep. 418 Last Ship Standing & Sea of Thieves May Update

    The latest Sea of Thieves update introduces Last Ship Standing, an intense six-Sloop battle royale mode in the Sea of the Damned featuring shrinking boundaries, custom arena environments, and placement-based Allegiance rewards. Alongside this major PvP addition, the developers have addressed player feedback by replacing the blinding red edge-of-map effects with a cleaner greyscale tint, doubling Reaper's Chest rewards to 20 Doubloons, and moving Duke and Larinna’s markets back to a monthly restocking cadence to better match player earning rates.     Ep. 417 Delays and Disappointments

    This week in Sea of Thieves is a hard one to talk about, and while I think it's an important issue, it's not something that I want people to go out and look into if you're averse to sensitive topics like harassment, abuse, or grooming.
