Can Love Transform the World? with Adam Guzman-Poole

Adam Guzman-Pool, a holistic relationship counselor and author of Lessons on Love, recounts his journey from troubled teen to a 20-year apprenticeship with different indigenous medicine people, healers, and Buddhist teachers, and how meeting his wife redirected his monastic plans to embracing a committed family life. He and Rev. Carol explore the powers of discernment and love in catalyzing personal and global change, and the simple but monumental idea that changing the world begins with self, then family, community, and beyond. Adam shares several stories applicable to the spiritual path, from Arjuna’s encounter with Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita to his personal “micro moment” story of befriending a neighbor. In the end, he offers hope and practical advice for moving through the chaotic times facing us. Adam offers listeners a free gift which you can download at lessonsonlove.com/gift. ✍Amazon's Link To Buy Adam's Book-  https://www.amazon.com/Lessons-Love-Relationships-Becoming-Authentic/dp/0995837309 🎙️ Listen on Apple Podcasts & rate us to spread the light! – https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-spiritual-forum  ❤️ Support this mission: https://thespiritualforum.org/ Bio-  Adam Guzman-Poole is a holistic relationship counselor, coach, and spiritual therapist. Grow and Thrive as a Caregiver with Roy Remer - EP 362

Caregiving is a universal topic, as Rosalynn Carter (1927–2023) once famously stated that everyone will eventually be a caregiver, have been one, need one, or will need one. While it can be an emotionally and physically draining experience, guest Roy Remer brings a new light to caregiving and offers a path to genuinely grow and even thrive through the process. He reframes caregiving as restoring a human, psychospiritual connection often lost in a medicalized, death-denying culture, and emphasizes broad, everyday caregiving through presence and compassion. We explore honesty, resentment, storytelling, and why fixing and understanding can be overrated, especially in dementia care. The episode also highlights the Zen Caregiving Project training and support circles offered online. ✍Amazon's Link To Buy Roy Remer's Book-  https://www.amazon.com/Zen-Caregiving-Yourself-Caring-Others/dp/1608689530/  🎙️ Listen on Apple Podcasts & rate us to spread the light! – https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-spiritual-forum  ❤️ Support this mission: https://thespiritualforum.org/ Bio- Roy Remer is the author of Zen Caregiving: How to Care for Yourself While Caring for Others.
