Happy Friday, listening family!!!  Today brings us another edition of "Reid on the Road" -- and with that being the case, first up among our guests for the day is Paige Newman, Curator at John's destination for the day, The Virginia Museum of History & Culture.  John and Paige discuss the museum's latest exhibit, dedicated to late chef and cultural phenom Julia Child!

Last this AM, we hear from attorney and former Virginia House of Delegates member Tim Anderson -- who discusses the advent of speed/traffic cameras in Virginia and remarks that their use is especially susceptible to corrupt abuse by government.

Thursday morning, 8:35AM -- this means that former Virginia Governor and European Ambassador Jim Gilmore is back on the show, to discuss national and international politics.  Today, Governor Gilmore addresses the shooting of Slovakia's Prime Minister (and its connection to Russian relations).  Additionally, Governor Gilmore laments the apparent demise of the scheduled Presidential Debate at Virginia State University, indicating that Biden's refusal to participate at an HBC event sends the wrong message to voters of color. 

Atop the 8 o'clock hour this Thursday morning, we check in with James River Air's Hugh Joyce.  Hugh talks to John about the high stakes of this election year, addressing the topics of inflation, environmental policy, and international relations, among others -- and indicating that certain positions would be crippling to business and the American economy.

Next up this AM, at the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour, is Mark Tapscott, Senior Congressional Reporter for The Epoch Times.  John and Mark talk about the latest news on Capitol Hill, Speaker Johnson's track record thus far, and the prospect of Republican control of Congress come January.
