Blue Jays Fan Friday - 300 Islands No Longer in the Stream Edition

This is LOCKED ON BLUE JAYS! *boots a garbage can into a pit*
There are now 300 episodes of Locked on Jays out in the ether. What a scary thought. A.J. Andrews reflects on her past century of shows, and how coming out has allowed her to take the show fully in the direction she wanted, transphobes be damned. She is very thankful for the fans and those who have shown support over the past eight months and allowed her to keep going.
This was supposed to be a happy occasion, but then the announcement came down that MLB.tv was no longer allowed to carry Blue Jays games, and our host rips Rogers for a very short-sighted decision. The fans help her as well. Finally some of the best moments of the last two years as remembered by the fans. Yes, there were highlights. No, they weren't easy to find.
    Thanks to @MagneticTurtle9, @_Annetastic_, @EverythingGrich, @RayRay3322, @DerekStubbs14 and @LeafsRapsJays for their thoughts!

The Blue Jays and Remembering Tony Fernández and Roasting Rob Manfred

The Blue Jays and Remembering Tony Fernández and Roasting Rob Manfred

Going through the stages of grief here, but someone else is getting the anger.
A.J. Andrews begins the podcast by remembering the life of Tony Fernández. She affirms what she said on the Feb. 2 episode and hopes that he is able to keep playing baseball somewhere. Then, the first installment of the League Commish Fantasy Minute brings you some Danny Jansen talk!
The second half is dedicated to Rob Manfred, who sounded downright foolish when discussing the Astros scandal and brushing off what it meant in the game. Andrews details just what kind of damage the "Commish" is overlooking and how if unchecked, it will lead to an untenable situation for MLB.

If you’re curious about the Blue Jays

I have been listening constantly for the past two weeks to gain a insight into the Jays since they aren’t a team I followed consistently, but I wanted to see what the team was doing. The podcasts are a daily recap of games, player’s and analysis needed to keep up to speed with the Jays. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard so far and look forward to future episodes. It’s always a good thing to know how other teams are doing, it’s makes for more entertainment and better baseball conversations.
