Saving Yourself through Music with Michal Menert

No one knows the saving power of music like the Polish-born godfather of the Colorado electronic music scene, Michal Menert. Since his early days making hip hop with high school buddies, to co-producing one of the most groundbreaking albums in electronic history, to now touring the country with his own 6 person band, Michal is no stranger to adversity and career challenges - yet somehow he always comes out on top. Not by chance but by choice, Michal has learned a lot from life's lessons and shares his unique perspective on ... tons of things! I was incredibly inspired speaking with him for this interview and I know you will be too. At one point in the interview, I ask Michal if he has a mantra, an inspiring tidbit that drives him every day. He said "I put it all in one of our latest songs, "All You Get." You can find that song here: https://soundcloud.com/michalmenert/all-you-get Find all the latest releases from Michal Menert and the Pretty Fantastics here: https://soundcloud.com/michalmenert/sets/2018-singles and look out for their full length album dropping on November 16th.

1: Mastering the Hustle with Defunk

Logan Shea is a self-described workaholic. In the past couple years, amidst personal and financial challenges, he’s done whatever he had to to take his career and his music to the next level. Like so many artists working to make a name for themselves, Defunk has been hustling his butt off, which means he’s done it all. From marketing and promotion, to booking and outreach, tour planning, not to mention producing fresh music regularly and teaching himself new instruments, he’s worn every hat as an artist and business owner.
