BLACKTOBER: The Problem with Black Excellence
Black Excellence is nice and all but I can't get down with how the concept uses a Black person's accomplishments to measure their worth as a person. Nah.

BLACKTOBER: The Other Side of the Tracks
Let's talk about how railroads and highways uprooted and segregated Black communities. In the 19th century, the railroad system was used as a means to keep Black communities away from White ones with the highway systems following that model shortly after.

Customer Reviews
Excuse me?! Carefree and white diaries aren’t a thing, Hon.
This podcast is amazing! I needed this! Thank you!😭
“Creating From pain isn’t sustainable”
Listen sis! I am in the same boat, I am a writer and most of my writing comes from experiences that left me feeling some type of way. It’s a form of release and a way to share with people there’s always beauty in the journey. But lately I haven’t written bc ummm writers block. In reality it’s because I’ve been shedding that hurt and really allowing myself to flow and be as I am. This has created peace in me and I am grateful, I just need my pen to catch up lol.
Needed this
