"Thank you!" She stood and gave each of them a big hug. "I can't wait to go to the wildlife park." She turned the voucher over and gasped. "I'm even getting a photo with a koala?" Her aunts laughed. "Yes!" Aunt Mia said. "You've been talking about getting a photo with a koala for two whole years, so we asked your mum, and she said it was fine." Kali squealed and hugged them again. "Also…" Aunt Siena smiled. "We're taking you this Sunday." Kali clapped and cheered as she spun around the room. "Oh, wait. Is Ella coming too?" "Definitely!" Aunt Siena exclaimed. "We can't take one niece and leave the other behind, can we?" Kali shook her head. Ella, who had been watching from the corner of the room, grinned and ran to hug her aunts. "Thank you," she whispered. That week, the sisters talked about nothing but the trip to the wildlife park. She worked in India for many years helping children and did an orphanage so they could live free and happy. Amy's story is very inspirational! Here's a sneak peek: The following morning, as usual, she drank her cup of tea, enjoying the morning sunshine on her face as she prayed.  Suddenly she opened her eyes as she felt the touch of a little hand on hers. "I'm Preena," said a small voice, "and I want to live with you always." Amy didn't know what to say. Then, looking into her deep brown eyes, full of sorrow beyond her years, she motioned for Preena to sit by her side. Preena told Amy everything that had happened to her…how she was given to the temple as a slave, and how she tried to escape. Amy was shocked! "How many more children must be suffering like this?" she thought to herself. She resolved from that point on to help as many children as she could, and that is exactly what she did. She worked in India for many years helping children and did an orphanage so they could live free and happy. Amy's story is very inspirational! Here's a sneak peek: One day, Amy's whole life was turned upside down. Her father's business was forced to close. The financial stress upon him was so great that he became very ill and passed away shortly after. As the eldest of seven children, Amy dropped out of school to help her mother with the younger siblings. So, she began sharing Bible stories with them and inviting other children in the neighbourhood to listen. She also started visiting the slums where the poor people lived, yet her greatest burden was for the poor girls working in the flour mills. They were known as the "Shawlies" since they couldn't afford to buy hats and wore shawls instead. For 14 hours a day they worked in terrible conditions and for very little pay. Amy wanted so much to bring them to her church, but she could see how unwelcome they were. What happened next?     Holiday by the sea and a Dolphin

    Hey GIGI kids, Today we have an awesome story about a family who goes on holiday and sees a dolphin. And in Poppy's glitter box, you will meet Ranger Zoe, who shares amazing facts about the pink dolphin who lives in Brazil! Here's a sneak peek of the story: Making their way back towards the house, the family stopped when all of a sudden they heard a clicking sound coming from the water behind them. Turning around, their eyes rounded. A sleek grey fin sliced through the water, followed by a glimmer of silver. What was it? Suddenly the children gasped in delight as the dolphin leapt gracefully into the air, twisting before it splashed back down. "It's a dolphin!" they all shouted.     Mei and Ginger Get Lost

    Hey GIGI kids, Today we have a great story based on Mei and Ginger. You will love it! Here's a sneak peek... Just then, the first firework shot into the sky with a boom! And burst into sparkling colours. Mesmerised, Mei's eyes widened. She began walking towards the lights, licking her cone, her mind lost in the beauty of the fireworks. She didn't notice how far she had wandered. The ice cream truck was gone now, and her feet were tired. The people around her had changed; she didn't recognise any of the buildings. The laughter and lights seemed distant. Mei stopped. "Ginger… where are we?" Ginger meowed softly and brushed against her leg. Mei turned one way, then another. The streets all looked the same. Her tummy filled with fear. "Oh no," she whispered. "I'm lost." She picked up Ginger and hugged him tightly. "What am I going to do?" Her eyes filled with tears. "Jesus, please help me. I'm scared."     Dorcas: The Lady Who Loved to Help

    Hey GIGI kids, Today we have a beautiful Bible story about a woman called Dorcas - you can find her story in the Bible in Acts 9:39-42. Here is a sneak peek.... Days passed, and Cyrus and his mother waited anxiously for Dorcas to send word that she had completed the dress. But the only news they got was that Dorcas was very sick. "Oh, no!" Cyrus' mother sobbed. "Poor Dorcas! She has done so much to help everyone in this village; there must be something we can do to help her." Cyrus and his mother walked through the city to Dorcas' house so that they could cheer her up with kind words and some flowers that Cyrus had picked from the garden. When they reached the house, Cyrus saw that Dorcas' small bedroom was already crowded with local people who had come to visit her and pray for her. Squeezing into the house, they found a spot where they could see Dorcas. She was lying very still on her bed. Her skin was burning up with fever, and she let out a dreadful cough. Her face looked thin and pale, and Cyrus could tell that she was very sick indeed. What happened next?
