The Black Eagles came away with a thoroughly deserved win against Eyüpspor to leapfrog them in to 4th place. Following last week's win against Trabzonspor, the Black Eagles are now in an excellent position going forward to secure European football through the league route next season. Rafa Silva continues to up his numbers under Solskjaer aswell, with two assists and a goal today he was involved in all 3 of Beşiktaş' goals. Semih Kiliçsoy finally found the way to the back of the net again aswell and Keny Arroyo made his debut for the Black Eagles coming on in the second half for an excellent João Mário. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Beşiktaş have come from behind to beat Şenol Güneş' Trabzonspor -- who had been creeping up to the Black Eagles in the standings in recent weeks -- thanks to goals from Rafa Silva and Milot Rashica. Despite being at fault at the 0-1 from Simon Banza in the 17th minute, Rafa managed to redeem himself in the second half after magestically brushing in a shot past Ugurcan early in the second half. Several minutes later Milot Rashica completed the comeback after a Trabzonspor defender deflected the ball in his own goal. The Black Eagles held on to their narrow lead and kept all 3 points at home against their former success coach Şenol Güneş, earning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first big win in the Turkish league against a historical rival. The Black Eagles have also made their first signing of the winter transfer window with 18-year old Ecuadorian starboy Keny "Cheche" Arroyo, who gets the number 10 jersey, from Independiente del Valle. In addition Amir Hadziametovic has been recalled from his loan spell at Rizespor, Al-Musrati has been loaned out (with option-to-buy) to AS Monaco and more! Furthermore Beşiktaş have also announced the signing of 20-year old Colombian midfielder Élan Ricardo from La Equidad for a reported $2m. Please COMMENT, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! Beşiktaş only had one objective in Enschede last night: don't lose and qualification would be in reach. A win in fact would have guaranteed the Black Eagles a spot in the next round of the Europa League and a draw might've been enough (although in hindsight it wouldn't have been). But the night away in Twente started off with the mood set immediately, the hosts took the game by the scruff of the neck and dominated throughout. Twente should've found themselves ahead in the first half but Van Wolfswinkel's header somehow went over and Mert had some good intervention. The Black Eagles on the other end were unable to put much of a fight up, other than a shot from Masuaku and a late freekick from, again, Masuaku the Black Eagles had very little offense of note. Twente scored late in the second half and that goal secured themselves a deserved qualification and victory over Beşiktaş. The Black Eagles are now out of Europe, with only the Turkish Cup left as a realistic goal this season. Please COMMENT, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! The Black Eagles have firmly planted their feets on the ground again following a disappointing 1-1 draw away against Antalyaspor. Beşiktaş had taken the lead in the 79th minute through Rafa Silva, but could only hold on for about 6 minutes before the scores were level once again. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave chances to some different players in this match, perhaps to see who he can build on going forward but the experiment seems to have disappointed the new boss. Al-Musrati and Rafa both got booked against Anatalyaspor, meaning they'll miss the next league match against Sivasspor, both cards were terrible referee decisions aswell. Please COMMENT, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Erling Moe and Richard Hartis are off to the races in their Beşiktaş coaching career. They have somehow managed to inspire the Black Eagles in to a historic home win against top LaLiga side Athletic Club de Bilbao! Phenomenal performances across the board from the players, with the standouts being Rafa Silva (2 assists, 1 goal), Milot Rashica (2 goals, 1 assists) and Ernest Muci (overall briliant play). While we all thought our European adventure had ended against Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Beşiktaş are now completely back in the race for qualification out of the league stages and have drastically improved their goald ifferential by beating Athletic 4-1. An absolute dream start for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his staff and one that will be undoubtedly fondly remembered for many years to come, arguably the best performance of the season and the best European performance for the Black Eagles in years. Beşiktaş have a new boss and his name Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the Norwegian was still watching from the stands on Saturday as the Black Eagles squandered two points against a 10-man Samsunspor side. The Eagles did show a clear reaction, for the first itme in a long time, to the presence of their new boss however but the ball simply didn't want to go thanks to an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Okan Kocuk and Samsunspor's determination. Kaan, Kartal and Sinan will talk about OGS' arrival, the performance against Samsunspor and Solskjaer's first game in charge on Wednesday against Athletic Club de Bilbao in the Europa League.
