Also can you do an episode about making an oc and cosplaying as it
Cosplayrific
Listening to Cosplay Stitch and Seam is truly a transformative experience. Listening to Pannon, VFire, and CrestSphinx be human, embrace imperfections, and celebrate every step of the cosplay journey is truly inspiring. Not only do they provide a plethora of cosplay information and techniques they provide the support everyone needs to cosplay comfortably despite race, sex, gender, or weight. Through their facebook community and discord they truly are making a difference, while making amazing costumes.
My Favorite Cosplay Podcast
First things first. I’ve met the hosts of this podcast and it’s hard not to love their labor of love.
Second-I would probably actually rate this a 4.5 stars vs 5, because of the audio. Some early episodes and convention episodes have audio problems. I don’t consider these a dealbreaker because of the context and content for these episodes, as in con episodes where you can normal con background noises.
I love the humble approach to learning and growth in cosplay (and subsequently as a person) the show promotes. VFire and Pannon are never condescending towards their guests and audience (sarcasm excluded), and often share their own stumbles in a lighthearted and humorous manner.
It has been great to listen to David coming on as a cohost, as he embodies the person just getting into cosplay, proving that anyone can cosplay.
And it’s not just limited to the hosts, some episodes feature audience input or specialized guests.
This podcast covers a myriad of topics, and has built a wholesome community of cosplayers who want to help others out. All are asked to share horrors or happy stories of cosplay.
I keep trying other podcasts for cosplay, and I just keep coming back to this one. I’ve learned and enjoyed so much of this-I am very grateful for all the tips and tricks learned since this started.
Ps. I’m so glad the puns are back!
