    Theory Continues: 2026 AFC West

The Prophet Playoff Theory is back, and this time we’re breaking down the AFC West — a division loaded with questions, expectations, and plenty of room for the Prophets to disagree.  We start with last year’s division champs, the Denver Broncos. Was their success in one-score games a sign of a team that knows how to win, or is regression to the mean coming? Will Bo Nix take another major step forward, or has Sean Payton already put him in the perfect situation? Then there’s the Kansas City Chiefs. After a rare down year, Kansas City is retooling — and Rashad and Kev aren’t exactly impressed with everything they see. But there are two things that make counting out the Chiefs dangerous: Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. When you have those two, anything is possible. In Las Vegas, the Raiders bring in Klint Kubiak to lead the offense, With rookie Fernando Mendoza waiting in the wings, could Vegas have a bigger decision on its hands than expected? And finally… “The Chargers are the Chargers.” — Rashad. We all know what that means. The Los Angeles Chargers have the talent, Justin Herbert, and a roster capable of competing for the division. But can they stay healthy in the spots that matter most? If the offensive line and key defensive pieces stay healthy, could this finally be the year the Chargers turn potential into playoff success? Theory Continues: 2026 AFC North

The Prophet Playoff Theory heads to the AFC North, where all four teams enter 2026 with major questions, new leadership and plenty of pressure.  First up: The Baltimore Ravens. Jesse Minter takes over as head coach and brings his defensive prowess to a team led by two-time MVP Lamar Jackson. Can Minter get Baltimore’s defense back to its dominant ways? Will Derrick Henry finally fall off a cliff, and can the offensive line keep this offense from being its own worst enemy?  The Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati can’t afford another slow start. Joe Burrow’s health remains one of the biggest questions surrounding this team, but for the first time in a while, the Bengals have made major investments in their defense. Can Burrow make it through the entire season, and will the revamped defense finally give Cincinnati the ability to win some low-scoring games when the offense isn’t carrying the team? The Cleveland Browns. Cleveland has a decision to make at quarterback, and Rashad and Keven aren’t waiting around — they believe Shedeur Sanders should start right away. Can the 2nd year QB take control of the offense and give the Browns a real direction at quarterback? And with Andrew Berry still running the front office, will Cleveland continue to hit on the draft picks needed to build this team back up? The Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike McCarthy is in, and so is Aaron Rodgers for what could be his final NFL season. Is McCarthy’s system the perfect fit for this version of Rodgers, or are we asking too much from a 42-year-old quarterback? Can the McCarthy-Rodgers reunion recreate some of that Green Bay magic? And with Mike Tomlin no longer on the sideline, can Pittsburgh still find a way to finish around .500 or better?  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/preach-kev-preach-w-rashad--2977392/support.

    Theory Continues: 2026 AFC South

Episode 4 of Prophet Playoff Theory heads to the AFC South, where the division has become one of the most intriguing in football. Houston, Jacksonville and Indianapolis all have legitimate playoff aspirations, while Tennessee is trying to establish a new identity around Cam Ward.   The last time we saw Houston, a five-turnover game helped cost them another playoff opportunity. The defense is arguably the best in the business, but how much more can this roster accomplish if C.J. Stroud takes the next step? With this much talent around him, what does Stroud need to do to make sure he doesn’t waste his opportunity? The Colts have made some massive financial and personnel commitments, including trading two first-round picks for Sauce Gardner and paying Alec Pierce after his breakout season. With Pierce already dealing with an injury, did Indianapolis put too many chips on the table? And just how much can the return of Daniel Jones change this team and get the Colts back into the playoff picture?  Keven is officially buying the Jaguars. After their playoff berth and division title last season, expectations are much higher in Jacksonville. Is this finally the year Trevor Lawrence cements himself as one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks? And why should both Keven and Rashad expect even more from this team after last season’s breakthrough? What does “good” actually look like for the Titans? Tennessee brings in Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll to help Cam Ward and a young roster take the next step. After a three-win season, can a more experienced coaching staff provide the structure this team desperately needs? Is this simply a rebuilding year—or could the Titans surprise the AFC South? Theory Continues: 2026 AFC East

The AFC East has a completely different look heading into 2026, and Prophet Playoff Theory is breaking down what’s real, what’s hype, and who is actually built to make a playoff run. Buffalo Bills: A new face is leading the way as Joe Brady takes over in Buffalo. With Josh Allen still at the center of everything, Keven asks the biggest question yet: Is it finally time for the Bills’ draft picks to hit, or is Josh Allen’s championship window starting to close? After years of regular-season success without a Super Bowl appearance, the pressure is officially on. Miami Dolphins: Miami has gone through a complete overhaul — new front office, new head coach, new quarterback and a dramatically different roster. But how much success should we realistically expect from a team rebuilding from the ground up? Why is screaming UNDER the right call for Miami in 2026? New England Patriots: After going from one of the league’s worst teams to just one win away from a Super Bowl championship, can the Patriots keep the momentum going? More importantly, has Drake Maye officially taken the next step, and does he have what it takes to become one of the AFC’s elite quarterbacks? New York Jets: Is Aaron Glenn a sitting duck? After a brutal first season, what does success actually look like for the Jets in Year 2? With another reset underway, did New York waste valuable time, or is the rebuild finally heading in the right direction?  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/preach-kev-preach-w-rashad--2977392/support.
