This is the story of a space station built as the Elysium during the cold war in case humanity had to be evacuated. After 30 years unused and unmaintained, the station is recommissioned as a prison by the UN Council. Inmates in for life without parole are exiled to this new man-made environment where everything can break. We learn how it works through the experience of six new arrivals to the station.
