Subversionist is observation, assessment, reaction, and narration; Things we have seen and felt, think and thought, and have experienced. Good, bad, positive, negative, and otherwise; Never neutral, and never nothing. Short, topically singular, sometimes editorialized, sometimes simply a spoken version of something previously written. Our attempt at providing momentary escapism for those that have no choice but to attempt to momentarily escape.

    Ep 2: Time Under Tension

All valuable decisions are made for a variety and combination of reasons; Often too many to even consider or acknowledge at the time of making. The decision to travel across country to accept an invitation, in what was my most compromised-ever physical condition, was made (at least primarily) out of fear of regret. I knew it would be nearly exactly the mess it ended up being, and I also knew that passing up something of value based on physical discomfort is a choice I would hold myself to the fire for, long after the pain had gone. "Time Under Tension", as seen (very limitedly) in issue #1 of the now-defunct Raze magazine. Written version now lives at www.warofattrition.com, Hope you enjoy.

    Ep 1: Disappointed, Not Surprised

Often, helping others doesn't feature the "feel good" moment that the movies portray... Not a surprise, but in this odd case of a smashed-up old person and I, amidst a sea of dead-hearted younger people, certainly a disappointment. "Disappointed, not surprised", as seen at www.warofattrition.com, from 2004. Hope you enjoy.
