    It's been 69 years... Welcome back! The world has changed, and so have we - Kat moved to Oakland, and she and Amy share a zip code, a roof, and a microphone to bring you the latest episode of the podcast! We're living through quarantine, unpacking three Steely Dan songs, and exploring themes like home, addiction, the meaningless of time, self-destructive behavior, and just feeling like a general fuckup. Sound familiar? It's SOCIAL DANSTANCING! Join your favorite gentlewomen losers as they deconstruct TIME OUT OF MIND, HOME AT LAST, and NIGHT BY NIGHT. Amy has her steely knives out for wannabe influencers (why?), Kat asks if Chevy Chase ever played drums for the Dan (sort of! College, baybeeee!), and they both talk about their dads (RIP - or as Amy's boyfriend asked, "is this supposed to be funny?") It's a weird time. It's roughly 50 minutes. It's perfection and grace.

But we're living in a different world now, baby! The only constant? The People's Republic of Steely m**********n Dan.  We're talking political Dan, babies! The Royal Dan. You have the right to remain silent as court jesters Kat and Amy discuss King of the World, Kings, and The Royal Scam.  JK this is a fiefdom and you have no rights!!!

Who cares, because we're not gonna talk about any of that. On this episode of Any Major Dudette Will Tell You, Kat and Amy take a look at the female subjects (read: fetishized objects) of three Steely Dan songs. We'll talk tales of romance at the roller rink, 20th century American literature, and of course, #MeToo. So slip into your whitest white pants, pour yourself some Cuervo gold, step on in, and let me shake your hand.
