I believe your last breath here is followed by your first inhale on the other side, & imagine the first thing I see is a stunning countryside and every animal I’ve ever had and loved running to me and knocking me down with all their love and excitement, then together we will cross the rainbow bridge (because my animals have been waiting for me to cross it with them) to where those who’ve gone before me will be gathered to embrace me with the best reception imaginable. Singing in the Rain is my absolute favorite of all time but I’m confident the cast are in heaven and can perform the scenes for all of us there. So I’ve decided to bring IF by John Krasinski because the incredible characters can’t actually come to heaven but we all will watch it to remember that imagination shouldn’t only exist in childhood, that it’s an incredible gift and one we should nurture and keep forever.

I loved the Joanna Scanlan episode. I found it refreshing to have a slightly older person’s perspective. So many of the Gen X and Millennial answers are similar. I like having new film recommendations. Thanks for doing the pod!

I’ve never heard anyone bring up Scent of a Woman. One of my favorites and just watched it and it still holds up.
