Bella had no background in design or fashion, but she found the resources she needed to create a technical, super-durable women’s workwear piece. Bella’s story is something else. We talk in detail about using kickstarter to launch a business, then & now.

Bella shares her vision for slow, quality product-focused growth, talks about the challenges of producing clothing in America and shares what she’s learned about business and herself through her work with Handyma’am.

Consumer Content That Matters

Sarah’s podcast really drives home the idea of sustainability. I’d love to see her do a good intro podcast after getting into the series a little deeper where she showcases some of her actions with sustainability and where her passion stems from. Listening to phone based interviews can be tough, but when the content is matters, everything else just kind of goes away. Good listen when you’re looking for something different!

Refreshing - keep going!

Love hearing these perspectives on intersections of business and life! Reminder of how every dollar we spend contributes to the world we want to be in. In early 2019, I’m appreciating this dialogue which inspires to innovate in the spaces we believe in.
